There is one girl that weighed 5 ounces when she was born,
and one very tiny little boy that only weighed 2 ounces when he was born.

Date-of-birth was February 14, 2007; Valentines Day! They all weigh 1 lb. each at 6 weeks!

My puppies are all born in my bedroom and they remain in cribs right next to my bed and are cared for 24/7.  I do not leave my babies for the first three weeks, as they are fragile, and I need to make sure they are all eating well and are always clean and warm.  I also hand feed the mommies to keep them in prime condition to take care their puppies.  I do not sell my babies before 12 to 16 weeks of age, as they really need time to be with their mothers and to be properly socialized.  Just because they can eat on their own at 8 weeks does not mean they are ready for their new homes at that time.  They need to learn many skills from their moms, like how to play without biting too hard, how to be secure around other dogs and people, and the tiny ones have to be able to keep their blood sugar levels up.

I raise the best quality Yorkies that I possibly can and have several Champions.  All of my babies get off to a great start with no bad baggage or fears.  I do not sell Yorkies to families with small children as they are too fragile and can easily be hurt by a child.    Also, children are not good at remembering to keep doors closed, gates locked, and do not have quick reactions should a puppy try to jump out of their arms.  Yorkies love kids, but until the kids are 8 or 9 years old, they are not able to be responsible enough to keep the puppies out of danger.

I am in love with this breed and have had Yorkies for over 35 years.  My prices are not set in stone, and a reduction in price is given when littermates are purchased. Please feel free to give me a call anytime if you have any questions or want to talk about the prices.  Prices may change as a puppy grows and develops.  The most important thing is a qualifying family.  I do not sell to college kids or single couples that are wanting to start a family.  I want my Yorkies to be their baby, and I want my Yorkies to come first.  My perfect family would be young couples who are not going to have children, families with children over 9 years old, couples who have all their kids in college and are suffering from "empty nest syndrome",  retired couples, and single adults not planning on children.
